About
Opened in 2012, the Cafe is Duluth Coffee's flagship store. It started a small tasting venue for Eric to showcase the coffee and cultivating conversations about coffee. Today, it has grown to be a bustling coffee shop, staffed by professional baristas and latte artists. The baristas are eager to share a wealth of knowledge about coffee on equipment that we feel is on the cutting edge and makes coffee the best.
The cafe is the home to the 12kilo coffee roaster; the roaster that built the business. Installed in 2015 and operated at capacity until 2018, the traditional steel drum roaster was the backbone of Duluth Coffee. The 12kilo is still in operation today. Stop by on a Monday to catch fresh roasts of the Black Label Reserve coffees. These Black Label coffees highlight the best lots from farmers that we know personally and visit regularly.
