January 2016, our family reopened and renamed this quaint, five unit Motel. Established in 1966 as the Gunflint Motel -50 years this year! Located right in the heart of Grand Marais we look forward to carrying on the tradition of North Shore hospitality that our property has been known for.
The Feather Nest Inn is walking distance to the fabulous Grand Marais' shops, restaurants, harbor and Northhouse Folk School. If you love the outdoors, every season offers an awakening of activites from the summer to the winter. Come make your home away from home at the Feather Nest Inn!
