Fox Lake Campground of Bemidji is a northern Minnesota family vacation campground known for its casual atmosphere and the guests enjoying the lake. Fox Lake is connected to the Turtle River Chain of Lakes. Kids of all ages can be found relaxing at the beach or taking a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddle board out on the water. Boaters enjoy tubing and wakeboarding, and fishermen and fisherwomen can be spotted casting their lines into Fox Lake from their boats or heading down the channel to fish on Lake Beltrami.
While vacationing, the campground has many amenities to enjoy: a campground store (ice cream cones, shaved ice, clothing, souvenirs), game room (pool table, foosball, shuffleboard table, lending library), shower house/laundromat, fish cleaning house, playground, jungle gym, tetherball, sand volleyball, gaga ball pit, pickle ball court, basketball hoop, forest trails with activity stations, fairy forest, sandy beach, Saturday night Kiddie Cart Rides, and more! There are also three pontoons available for rent.
The campground has full hook-up campsites, with water, sewer, and electric. There are also three primitive tent sites with a closeby water spigot. The camping season usually runs from the beginning of May to mid-September. (Online booking begins mid-January.)
