Frontier Resort is a 2nd generation family resort located on the Ash River in northern Minnesota, a stones throw from Voyageurs National Park and just south of the Ontario border. Kabetogama and Namakan Lakes and some of the best fishing in the upper Midwest is just a short boat ride away! Our location on the river means we have the closest resort access to Sullivan Bay and the main lkes!
For the sportsman, Voyageurs' natural beauty and terrific fishing will bring you back again and again. Fish for walleye, northern, crappie and smallmouth bass in Kabetogama, Namakan, Sand Point or Crane Lake or portage your boat into Rainy Lake at Kettle Falls. You have 100's of miles of shoreline and waterways to find your days catch! Frontier is open May through September to accommodate you so you won't miss a minute of our excellent fishing!
