Welcome to our historic 1858 Victorian Italianate B & B, just two blocks from beautiful, scenic Excelsior Bay on Lake Minnetonka in the lovely lakeside village of Excelsior, MN. The Inn overlooks downtown Excelsior’s popular Water Street, selected as one of the 16 "best main streets in America" by Parade Magazine. Excelsior Bay is the perfect point of departure for a fun getaway weekend, special occasion, romantic escape or a refreshing change of pace for the business traveler. Area activities include the Old Log Theater, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, cruise boats, restored steam boat, hiking, biking trail, University of Minnesota Arboretum, antique shops, restaurants, farmers market. Special events: art festival in June, antique and classic boat show in August, Apple Day in September, Christmas in Excelsior in December. We are 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America.
