- Discover the wonders of Niagara Cave, consistently voted one of the nation’s top cave attractions. Kids of all ages enjoy gemstone mining and mini golf at this popular regional attraction!
- Bike or hike the Root River Trail System – over 60 miles of paved trail through pastoral scenery. An extension to the trail is currently being built from Harmony to the Iowa border, with a spur to Niagara Cave!
- Take a tour of Minnesota’s largest old order Amish settlement to learn about their fascinating culture. Shop Amish owned greenhouses, bakeries, quilt shops, furniture shops & more! During the months of May to October, you can find an Amish farmers market set up along highway 52 in Harmony.
- Harmony is quite the destination for antique and vintage enthusiasts with two large antique malls- New Generations of Harmony and Stardust Retro Revival!
- Enjoy independent and unique gift, antique, vintage, consignment and craft shops historic downtown buildings.
- Dine in a variety of independently owned, award winning restaurants. Fine dining and family friendly options are available!
- Enjoy cocktails in local bars, including Harmony Spirits Distillery’s tasting room. Our local bars have great beer taps, too!
- Stop in the Harmony Visitor Center to view historic and geologic interpretive displays. During the months of May to October the Visitor Center is staffed with volunteers who can help you make the most of your time in Harmony.
- Enjoy current movie releases at yesterday’s prices at the JEM Theatre, a historic one screen theater.
- Stay in comfortable and unique lodgings during your visit with a conveniently located motel and variety of local Air B&Bs.
- Enjoy outdoor recreation opportunities with Harmony’s local 9-hole golf course, 18-hole mini-golf course at Niagara Cave, a 9-hole disc golf course, a newly built splash pad for the kiddos, a large freestanding musical instrument installation and lots of great local parks and playgrounds!
- Celebrate Independence Day in Harmony with the area’s largest 4th of July Celebration! Highlights include live music, a grand parade, beer tent, fireworks, classic car show, vintage market and many more activities.
