The architecture of this building drew me in and I stayed for the history lesson. This was a solo trip when I had plenty of time to simply soak in the atmosphere.

I love old houses. from the outside this looked creepy to me. The inside though - quick history lesson and a peek at life from years ago - worth a quick visit!

So we grew up just north of the cities and this was our first ever visit to this house. It is beautiful and huge. They give tours of the house and let you go on your own to the 1st and 2nd floors...
