About
“Follow the Yellow Brick Road” to Grand Rapids, Minnesota where The Judy Garland Museum & Children's Discovery Museum await...a place for all ages! The Judy Garland and Children’s Discovery Museum is one 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization executing two missions under one roof!
The Judy Garland Museum® hosts thoughtfully curated exhibits and artifacts, including the original Carriage featured in "The Wizard of Oz," a Dorothy Gale test dress worn by Garland, and many personal Judy Garland items collected over the last 40 years. Judy’s restored 1920s childhood home invites people to step back in time to learn about the legendary entertainer and her significant contributions to the performing arts in American and global history. We host an Annual Judy Garland Festival every June to celebrate Judy Garland's birthday that everyone is invited to!
Children's Discovery Museum is a learning through play and open exploration space filled with fun, educational, hands-on activities kids love! We aim to enrich the lives of children through learning experiences that spark the joy of discovery of sciences, arts, and humanities. It’s a great place for caregivers to foster the culture of childhood and build lasting memories with their loved ones.
Don’t forget to take home a souvenir from our incredible Gift Shop – we have something for every Judy Garland & "Wizard of Oz" fan! We look forward to your visit!
