Justine's at Gunflint Lodge is named for Justine Kerfoot, the matriarch who ran this wilderness resort for decades starting in the 1950s. Our dining room is located inside the main Lodge, featuring a panoramic view of Gunflint Lake with some amazing sights and glorious sunsets. We serve hearty Northwoods fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an extensive use of native ingredients including wild berries, maple syrup, wild rice, and mushrooms. Our menu changes with the seasons — from walleye chowder and shore lunches in summer to comforting braises and warm cocktails in winter. The Northern Lights Lounge offers craft cocktails, local beers, and a casual atmosphere to watch the sun set over Gunflint Lake. Open year-round.
