Linnaeus Arboretum at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter Minnesota, provides an environment to educate the mind, revive the spirit, and delight in Minnesota’s natural history and the College’s Swedish heritage. The Arboretum founded in 1973, contains 130 acres of formal gardens, prairie, deciduous and coniferous woods. The Arboretum is named for Carolus Linnaeus, a Swedish botanist and is open during daylight hours all year.
Dates
Interpretive Center is open 8:30a.m. to 4p.m. Monday thru Friday; closed on weekends but people can still visit the arboretum grounds. The arboretum is open during daylight hours throughout the year.
Rates
The Interpretive Center and grounds can be rented for weddings, dinners, graduations, meetings, workshops, etc. Call 507/933-6181 for rates. Individuals touring the grounds/no charge.
