Located in the historic Hamm Building, the Loon Cafe St. Paul opened its doors in July 2019. Owner Tim Mahoney, a partner in the original Minneapolis Loon Cafe for over 30 years, thought it was time to bring the iconic institution to St. Paul, where he’s been a resident for many years.
The Loon Cafe St. Paul has all the menu favorites, like the award-winning chili, a friendly, warm and welcoming staff, an ample bar, cozy booths, and beautiful outdoor patios. The perfect place when venturing out to one of the many music and theater venues nearby, catching a MN Wild or St. Paul Saints game, or just sipping a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon.
