An independent neighborhood record store selling new and used vinyl, books, and gifts, with a specially curated collection of post-punk, classic, indie and local rock, including an expansive local music section. Located in the legendary location at 26th & Lyndale in South Minneapolis, previously Treehouse Records, and Oar Folkjokeopus before that, where The Replacements were discovered by Oar Folk manager Peter Jesperson, co-founder of Twin Tone Records. Lucky Cat Records is the only 100% female owned record store to open in the Twin Cities, and the only female owned and operated.
