Murray County Historical Museum

About

Murray County Historical Museum has over 10,000 artifacts on display, interpreting the history of the region from the Paleo-Indian era to contemporary times. The museum complex includes four structures: the County Museum, the 1872 Wornson Log Cabin, the Sierk Agricultural Building, and the Dinehart Holt Historic House Museum. A research archive and library section contains 25,000 family files, county atlases, regional history books and county records. The 1891 Dinehart Holt Historic House Museum is available for tours during business hours and is also is available for event rentals. Call for details.

Museum admission: Free will donation. Dinehart/Holt House - $3 admission.
