We're more than just a coffee and wine bar! Ely Wine society calls Northern Grounds home and hosts seasonal weekly wine tastings with experts from around the country and over 50 fine wines available by-the-glass at our wine bar. We thoughtfully prepare our food using quality ingredients, sourcing locally whenever possible. Our marketplace is full of unique gourmet ingredients, snacks, and desserts. We can host your next event in our beautifully renovated space with in-house catering and bartending.
Come gather with friends over a spirited coffee drink, pick up some bagged coffee before you head into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, or attend one of our events in Society Hall upstairs.
