Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo are located just north of Byron,
Minnesota, on the meandering Middle Branch of the South Fork Zumbro River. In this peaceful valley, the Park provides endless opportunities to connect with nature throughout its
634 acres. The Zoo exhibits a wide
variety of Minnesota native animals, both present and from the past, in
settings that allow you to see them up-close. You can howl with the wolves, be amazed by the bison, and watch the
otters do water aerobics. The miles of trails and acres of native prairies can
be enjoyed in every season, with an abundance of wildflowers, a variety of
trees, songbirds, and wildlife. The campground provides a respite from busy
lives and you’ll fall asleep to the sounds of the river. Gather your family and
friends for a picnic at one of our 5 picnic shelters. Environmental education
