The Pine County History Museum is a 55,000+ square foot museum located on Veteran’s Evergreen Memorial Scenic Drive (TH 23- shortcut to Duluth) in the quaint city of Askov. Situated in a former school, it presents the fascinating history of Pine County to long-time residents, newcomers and people visiting from across the U.S. and beyond!
One of the favorites at the Pine County History Museum is the impressive Train Room, which is home to a model train display that depicts the history of the railroad in Pine County. Other must-sees include: a full-size replica of a Wright Brothers Flyer, The Military Room, a locally crafted wooden finished car, Logging Room, one room school room and so much more.

are also small and large rooms available to rent for events, reunions and
parties.
Make sure and check out the seasonal Thrift Store located
directly across from the Museum which is open Saturdays during warm weather
months.
