Over the past years, the Playwrights' Center has grown from a small group of writers to a nationally recognized home for new theater. The Center offers opportunities for audiences, playwrights, and theater professionals to connect through its many events and programs. From classes to free public readings of new plays, the Playwrights' Center is grounded in its mission to "champion playwrights and plays to build upon a living theater that demands new and innovative works."
