Located just 15 minutes northwest of Walker, MN and 3 1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities, this beautiful 2400 acre lake sits at the edge of Paul Bunyan State Forest. Positioned among the trees, each deluxe, lake-level cabin sits only 20 feet from waters edge and our sandy beach. Relax on your patio while watching the kids swim just a few feet away in these crystal clear, spring-fed waters. Available on the beach are Fun Bugs, a paddle boat, and canoe for guests' use. Pontoon, jet ski, and ski boat rental are available near-by with delivery to the resort. On our grounds are a swing set play area, volleyball, horseshoe pit, and campfire pit for evening marshmallow toasting! Cabins are nicely furnished. Kitchens are fully equipped with all dinnerware and cookware, toasters, coffee-makers, etc., new stoves and refrigerators. A picnic table and barbecue grill is beside each cabin. Nicely furnished bedrooms offer queens, doubles, twins, and bunk beds. Bed linens provided. Kabekona Lake offers trophy-size Walleye and Northern fishing. Kids and adults alike catch Perch, Rock-Bass, Smallmouth Bass, even Walleye and Northern right off their docks located in front of each cabin. Cement ramp for lauching on premises. Gas and live bait available. At the lodge, you'll find video and pinball games, pool table, ice cream treats, pop, and pizza. Within a few minutes drive are excellent restaurants, great golf courses, unique shops, casinos, horseback riding, hiking and biking trails (with bike rental availablity), and more.
