About
River Place Campground is located on the shore of the scenic St. Louis River near Duluth, providing waterfront camping at its finest just minutes away from Jay Cooke State Park, the Willard Munger Trail, and Spirit Mountain Adventure Park.
This is the place for nightly, weekly, monthly and seasonal camping. Ideal for fishing enthusiasts, kayakers, canoers, and those looking for a peaceful campground. Terrific home base for hikers, mountain bikers, and travelers in town for one of Duluth's many attractions and events.
Dates
We begin taking reservations for the upcoming season on our Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/RiverPlaceCampground ) starting March 1. We open for the season on fishing opener weekend in May and remain open until the Saturday nearest Oct. 10.
