This resort property has gorgeous grounds and many outdoor amenities. Whether you want to have an evening bonfine, bbq your dinner or relax in an Adirondack, you’ll enjoy your outdoor time at the resort. The Root River Inn & Suites resort property also offers on site an on site concessions corner if you need a snack or cold drink. The locked indoor bike room also has a camera outside the door, keeping your bike secure is important to us! Plenty of outlets are available if your ebike needs to charge.

In the bike room you can also store your fishing gear or rent rec equipment to enjoy other amenities in town. Rent sports equipment like tennis racquets, pickle ball paddles or a basketball and spend some time recreating at Sylvan Park.
You’ll have access to Coffee Commons on the 3rd floor for coffee, tea, instant oatmeal as well as books and games you can enjoy on site. There is a parking lot with limited parking, but we are right downtown and located on the trail. If the lot is full we recommend parking at Sylvan Park and enjoying this walkable town.
These modern and newly renovated rooms are bright and airy even through they are in a historic property. They feature photography of the towns dotting the Root River Trail, and are right on the trail, just head down the stairs and cross the street to the old train bridge starting the trail out of town.
Guests here will receive gift cards to get you started on your selections of food and drink at Paddle On Coffee, just a block down.
Located on the main street, we are steps away from all the quality food in Lanesboro and right across the street from the iconic bike trail bridge. Walk to the waterfall, park, pickle ball, farmers market, brewery, shopping and dining. We're the in town resort. A place to relax and recreate, right where you want to be!
