Shing Wako Resort on Beautiful Lake Edward offers you the perfect size lake; flexible reservations; gradual sandy beach with exceptionally clear water and a relaxing atmosphere. Boat rentals include new pontoons and fishing boats. We are located 12 minutes north of Brainerd, 10 miles south of Crosslake and 10 miles east of Nisswa on Lake Edward. Our northern Minnesota Lake is over 2000 acres in size with a variety of lake structure; fish for walleyes, northern pike, bluegills, crappies & large and small mouth bass. Our 18 cabin resort is a great place for family reunions, business, fishing trips or a getaway with friends. All of our well-spaced, northwood's cabins include the following: a lake view, patio or deck, cable TV, free high-speed wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen, bed linens, picnic table, stack chairs, private fire rings, all non-smoking cabins, no pets allowed. As our guests enjoy at no charge; our clean sandy beach, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboards, paddleboats, carpetball, playgrounds, babsketball, volleyball, horseshoes, bird watching, hiking. There is plenty of room to boat, fish, water ski, jet ski (responsibly) and tube. Off season specials; family friendly, calm and relaxing atmosphere; fall colors; green cleaning, our six vacation lodges also have; central air conditioning; dishwashers; large gas grills; sleep number beds; washer and dryer; VCR & DVD players. We are near 2 casinos, numerous golf courses & shopping.
Dates
"Summer" we offer weekly stays; check-in after 9am on Sat and check out the following Fri before 10 am OR "mini vacations" - stay Mon - Fri for 4 nights or Fri - Mon for 3 nights. Either "mini" is the same rate for the same size cabin. Open 5/1 - 9/30.
Rates
Our 2019 Summer Rates apply June 15 - Aug 16 and our Discount Rates apply May 1 - June 14 and Aug 17 - Sept 30.
Additional persons $25 a night or $125 a week. 7.375% sales tax applies.
