Silver Rapids Lodge is located in the heart of the Superior National Forest on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with access to a chain of 4 lakes. Just 4 miles outside of Ely, Silver Rapids offers year round accommodations with lakeside cabins, motel suites, and campground with a bar and restaurant on the property. Fireplaces, sauna, decks, private fire pits, boat rentals, beach, banquet facilities, gas and laundry are just some of the amenities we have to offer.
Silver Rapids Lodge is located in the heart of Minnesota's Superior National Forest at the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. We are one of the most historic lodges in the area, established in 1919. Located just 4 miles outside of Ely, Silver Rapids offers year round accommodations with lakeside cabins, hotel suites and a campground.
