Ice fish on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Fish for lake trout, walleye, northern pike, and eelpout from one of our heated ice houses. Looking for extra bragging rights? Target a rare and elusive silver phase pike through the ice. Access to a plowed ice road, free of charge for our guests, makes accessing our ice house by truck, ATV, or snow mobile easy. For the ice fishing angler searching for a more rugged, off the beaten path location on Snowbank Lake, trek to the BWCAW side of the lake on foot, skis, or snow shoes to separate yourself from the pack to enjoy even more solitude. Ice fishing on the BWCAW side of the lake is truly a day in the wilderness. After a day of ice fishing stay in one of our motel rooms or three-bedroom suites on the shore of Snowbank Lake. Enjoy our lodge and restaurant in the evenings as lies are told and logs are burned in the wood burning stove.
