Starlight Bay Resort is nestled along the south shore of beautiful 8th Crow Wing Lake near Nevis. Offering a peaceful Up North escape rooted in simplicity, nature, and genuine hospitality, this family-owned and operated resort run by Dale and Brittany blends rustic charm with thoughtful comforts, creating the kind of lake experience guests return to year after year.
The property features cozy, well-kept cabins and an RV campground, all surrounded by towering pine and oak trees. Guests enjoy easy access to the water with a private boat launch, included dock space, and complimentary use of kayaks, paddleboards, and beach amenities perfect for soaking in Minnesota’s long summer days. The sandy beach, calm waters, and frequent loon sightings make mornings quiet and memorable, while evenings are best spent around a campfire under the stars.
Located on the scenic Crow Wing Chain of Lakes, visitors can boat directly into multiple connected lakes. The Crow Wing Lake system is known for excellent fishing and peaceful exploration. The surrounding area offers abundant outdoor adventure, with over 90 lakes within a short drive, along with opportunities for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing throughout northern Minnesota.
Starlight Bay Resort also serves as a perfect basecamp for exploring nearby destinations like Itasca State Park, home to the headwaters of the Mississippi River, as well as the charming communities of Park Rapids, Walker, and Dorset, often called the “Restaurant Capital of the World.”
