It's true, Sugar Lake has a clarity rating of 26 feet and the locals know better then to fish it on a sunny day. The lake is spring fed, has a sand bottom and is almost void of any weeds. The Lake isn't the only reason to visit Sugar Lake Lodge, in addition we have a on-site 18 hole championship golf course, Beach, Pool Summer activities, dining and a true Northern Minnesota Resort Experience.

Sugar Lake Lodge operates year 'round but limits winter operation to groups. We are at our best for families in June, July & August
