Sunset Bay Resort (www.sunsbay.com), expanded in 2019 to include 10 cabins and 7 campsites to meet more of your vacation needs! A lakeside family/fishing Resort is just feet from a 7,900 acre lake filled with walleye, crappie, sunfish, northern and bass.
We have added a large rental unit/reunion cabin called the "House On The Hill" which sleeps 8 in the base (16 max). It has all the comforts of home, because it is a home, AND is at the lake! Go to www.sunsbay.com/house-on-the-hill/ to learn more.
We've also added a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin which sleeps 2 in the base (4 max) called the "Cozy Cabin". It has air, television and internet! This cabin is perfect for a couple with up to 2 young children 3 years of age and under because we do not charge extra person fees for children under 3!
We also added 3 more campsites with 50 amp electric, water and sewer hookups! We will then have 7 campsites all available for nightly or weekly rentals!
Catch fish right off the docks! Our cabins are just feet away from our 550 feet of sugar sand beach. Swim, build a sand castle, play water volleyball, canoe, stand up paddle board, suntan, or just plain relax while soaking in all nature has to offer. Kids can also enjoy our Gorilla playset with fort, swings, sandbox, picnic table, tube slide, and many other activities. On site guest laundry and a game room with ping pong, air hockey, foosball, board games, a gaming table with bumper pool, and activities for the kids. We also have horseshoes, fish cleaning house, common area restroom/shower house, and many lawn games (bags, basketball, bocce ball, etc.).
Each cabin is fully furnished and includes stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and all the pots, pans, plates, and silverware necessary. On the exterior each cabin comes with a fire pit, picnic table, 4 Adirondack chairs, and a Weber charcoal grill. Everything you need to make your vacation memorable!
Located near golf, antiques, state parks, trails and other activities if you choose to venture out to one of the many local communities nearby. Many offer events and activities that are unique to each community throughout the year such as Perham's international Turtle Races!
