Wake up surrounded by nature in the Minnesota northwoods! Classic log cabin constructed in 1940 with modernized renovation in 2017 means vintage charm with new interior and appliances. Located on beautiful northwest Lake Vermilion: Walk down the hill to fish from the dock or watch the stars come out over the water. Easy drive from Cook on paved roads. We look forward to hosting you!

The space

Large sunny deck, brand new kitchen, original stone fireplace, spacious living room, 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, yard, dock, and fire ring. The first bedroom has a king bed and double futon. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom, which is accessed through a door in the first bedroom, has one twin bed and a desk. Stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep. (Please bring a baby gate if booking with small children.) Please bring your own bathroom toiletries, soap, shampoo, etc. If using the fireplace, please bring your own hardwood firewood. The space can accommodate 8 guests.
