Talcot Lake Wildlife Management Area

About

The WMA is comprised of 5,130 acres, and includes Talcot Lake, its marshes, bottomlands and adjacent grassland and cropland. Historically important for migrating waterfowl. Controlled hunt zones, wildlife sanctuary, and waterfowl refuge boundaries are posted.

Some species include canada geese, common yellowthroats, northern cardinals, indigo buntings, and ring-necked pheasants. Mammals include beavers, muskrats, white-tailed deer, red foxes, and minks.

Dates

The WMA is closed from 10pm to 5am.
