Roberts Bird Sanctuary is a 31 acre preserve that lies adjacent to the shores of Lake Harriet in southwest Minneapolis. The sanctuary encompasses wetlands, wet prairie, and forest which attract a wide variety of birds - more than 200 species have been identified. Herons, egrets, songbirds, raptors and warblers abound. Take the time to explore adjacent Lake Harriet and go biking, canoeing, swimming and fishing.

Free Entrance. Metered parking so bring quarters. Free parking about one block away on Lake Harriet Parkway.
