Wabasha County Historical Society Museum

The Wabasha County Historical Society Museum is housed in a fifty by fifty foot, two-story, red brick Italianate four-room schoolhouse which was built in 1870. WCHS displays include the following: a restored school room; exhibits on clamming, early river transportation, American Indian artifacts, military and household items as well as numerous photos of history of the area. Also on site is a machine shed filled with vintage farm machinery and transportation vehicles.
Dates
Open Saturday and Sunday Mid-May through Mid-October or by appointment. Group tours available by appointment. Please call 651-343-7072 for additional information.
