The original building was constructed for the village elementary and high school students in 1902 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 19, 2021. The museum highlights the history of the area from the mid-1800’s through the 1960’s in multiple rooms that house artifacts, literature and other records documenting changes in the ways of farming, shopping, housekeeping, entertainment, transportation, fashion and communication.
