Wildwood Resort has been welcoming guests to the shore of Bass Lake near Grand Rapids, MN since the 1920s! While the cabins have all been replaced with modern, year round units, the peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere remains the same! Located just 8 miles west of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Wildwood Resort is in heart of Itasca County's prime trail systems for snowmobiling, ATVing, x-skiing, biking and hiking. And our location on beautiful Bass Lake allows guests to enjoy lake life year round. Check out our activities for every season!

Our nine lakeside cabins are finished in beautiful Northwoods décor and are exceptionally clean. All have been constructed since 2004 (with the newest cabins built in 2014) and each offers breathtaking views of Bass Lake and spectacular sunsets. Enjoy all of the comforts of home including fully-furnished kitchens, air-conditioning, in-floor heat, cable TV, high speed internet, gas grills and private firepits at each cabin. We offer two, three and four bedroom cabins as well as a six bedroom duplex perfect for family reunions. Guests may bring their own boats or rent a pontoon or fishing boat from us. We have seasonal laundry facilities available to our guests as well as free use of SUPs, kayaks, hydrobikes and yard games.

Bass Lake is a 2,400 acre lake with a maximum depth of 76 feet and average water clarity of 10.75 feet. It is a lake comprised of two basins connected by a wide, shallow channel that is navigable by boat. The upper basin is deeper and has a hard bottom whereas the lower basin is more shallow, with softer bottom and more aquatic vegetation. Wildwood is located on the west-facing shore of the lower basin of Bass Lake. From south to north the lake stretches approximately 7 miles. The lake is well-known for large panfish but guests also find walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass and perch. Bass Lake is also a beautiful, recreational lake perfect for swimming, water-skiing and fishing!
