About
Hunters and wildlife enthusiasts can visit one of 68 Waterfowl Production Areas encompassing nearly 14,000 acres. These prairie wetlands are home to a wide array of bird species including Bluebird, Bobolink, Egrets, Great Blue Heron, Meadowlark, Trumpeter Swans, and mammals including mink, muskrats, red foxes, and white-tailed deer. Hunting, fishing, wildlife observation and photography, interpretive walking trails, and environmental education are encouraged recreational activities.

Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 4:00pm except on all Federal holidays.
