Our collection of authentic Mexican gifts and jewelry is personally curated by founder and owner Anne Damon, who fell in love with the culture's vast richness during a high school summer study trip to Toluca. Nearly thirty years later, Anne continues to travel to Mexico three to four times a year in search of traditional and contemporary folk art unique to each region. She visits local mercados, art dealers, and artisans in their homes and studios to find the most original expressions of their vision and culture. Everything in our Minneapolis-based store is ethically purchased at prices set by the artisans.
