Located in RJD Memorial Hardwood Forest, the Zumbro Bottoms Management Unit has 3 campgrounds; Central, North, and West, managed by Frontenac State Park. The 72 horse campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. A vault toilet, a hand-pumped well, picket lines, tie rails, and manure disposal are also available. The campground allows for portable corrals.

Areas open at 8 a.m. daily during the open season and close at 10 p.m. Weekend before Memorial Day and the weekend after Labor Day there is a special motorcycle event at this unit.Rates
