  • The main office is located in the Winona County History Center at 160 Johnson & is open MO - FR, 8am to 5pm. The museum is also open on SAT. 10 am- 4 pm and-SU 12pm - 4pm. There is material in the lobby that is available when museum is open.

    The Commonweal Theatre will perform the closing performance of their statewide tour of the hit Broadway Play, "Stones In His Pockets" for one night only in Winona.
    "Stones in His Pockets" centers on the characters of Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn who, along with a collection of other townsfolk in a fictional Irish community, find themselves cast as extras in the filming of a Hollywood film. A cast of two featuring Hal Cropp, Artistic Director, and Josiah Lauberstein, company member, will perform all fifteen characters in the story, both male and female.

    A trail of distinctive colored ribbons will identify participating garage sales from Alma on the southern end of the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin, north along Hwy. 35 through Nelson, Pepin, Stockholm, and Maiden Rock to Bay City, WI.
