Where to Eat and Drink

In the heart of St. Louis Park is the Shops at West End, a popular outdoor shopping and entertainment area where diners can find several restaurants. If you're looking for brunch, try the Hope Breakfast Bar, known for sweet and savory breakfast dishes like carrot cake pancakes and pimento cheese scramble. As a bonus, proceeds go to community members in need.

For lunch and dinner, enjoy Japanese fusion at Raku, Mexican at Rojo Mexican Grill, the lively pub atmosphere of The Local, or a game on one of the 22 TVs at the Loop West End.

Cap your night off with a round of drinks at REVEAL Rooftop Bar (part of the AC Hotel Minneapolis West End) or Punch Bowl Social, a cocktail and mocktail bar that also serves party food and offers entertainment like giant Scrabble, bowling and private karaoke rooms.

You can also find Mediterranean and Afghan street food at Ariana Kabob & Gyro Bistro, contemporary Indian dishes at Dancing Ganesha, and birria tacos at La Bodega Taco Bar, Mexico City Café and The Taco Shop. Or sip boba tea and try Taiwanese street food at Tii Cup, dim sum at Yangtze Chinese, poké bowls at Song Tea and Poké, and made-from-scratch comfort foods at Yum Kitchen and Bakery. Visit the Twin Cities first certified kosher sushi restaurant, Sato Sushi & American Fusion or pick up gluten-free baked goods at Hold the Wheat.

Nearby, in the Texa Tonka neighborhood, is Revival, serving southern staples as well as a cheeseburger that always makes the lists of best burgers in the Twin Cities. Next door is Angel Food Bakery, with delicious donuts and cookies. In the same complex you will find creative and flavorful ice lollies and shaved ice at FrioFrio, delicious donuts and cookies at Angel Food, a gourmet market with delicious sandwiches at Westside Wine & Spirits, Tex-Mex flavors at Brito’s Burrito, and more. Across the street is Wok in the Park, a fresh Asian bistro popular with locals. Try the Pho in the Park or the summer rolls, and be sure to ask about the daily Puffs in the Park, their rotating featured wontons.
