On the second weekend in August a field just east of Almelund is transformed with Tractors, steam engines, people and music as the Almelund Threshing Show comes to life. The Threshing show started in 1955 when a farmer invited the public to watch him thresh stacked grain with steam power. Today much more is offered with live music, Tractor Pull, Antique Tractor Parade, Saw Mill, Huge Flea Market, Kids Old Time Activities and displays, Swap Meet plus much more.
