About

Intro to Using IRM ForgesIron Range Makerspace (IRM) members are invited to attend this FREE session on learning to safely use the propane forge and anvil. Students will heat, hammer, and twist metal to make a paper towel holder or a decorative hook using square stock iron. The instructors will show students how to hammer without tiring.

Bring a closed lid bottle of water. Wear closed toe shoes, long pants and sleeves, cotton clothing only (no synthetics). Leather aprons are best but optional. This 3 hour class will be held indoors.
