Welcome one and all to the 8th edition of Le Grand du Nord!

Le Grand represents one of the most amazing gravel courses in the United States. Beginning in downtown Grand Marais, riders will quickly leave the shores of Lake Superior as they head into the Sawtooth Range. With more than 5500 ft of climbing and a decidedly remote feel, the 110 mile course is beautifully challenging. The 54 mile course has plenty of climbing and miles of forested roads. The 26 mile “marathon” route is a Le Grand-worthy introduction to gravel cycling with its mix of paved and gravel roads, climbing and great Lake Superior views.

Our goal with Le Grand du Nord is to take all that we love about gravel cycling and bring it together for one special weekend. Amazing routes, beautiful hosting town and time spent outside with your friends and family. Doesn’t get much better than that. Hope to see you up North this May.
