Levi Tri 5 Snowmobile Race

Giants Ridge

The Levi Tri 5 Snowmobile race will be taking place on April 15th! The race is to benefit Wings for Life, a non-profit spinal cord research foundation. There will be three races to participate in and racers participating in them get extra points for style! Deck out your ride, find a fun costume to boot, and make a scene on the slopes in the most fun snowmobile ride you will ever see.

SPRINT 1 (20 Minute + 1 lap)

  • $50 Entry Fee
  • 1995 and older race
  • Le Mans Start
  • Limited to 30 Snowmobiles
  • Can have a partner ($25 additional fee)
  • Judged Race (overall creativity, most fun, overall awesomeness)

SPRINT 2 (20 Minute + 1 lap)

  • $50 Entry Fee
  • 2000 and older Race
  • Le Mans Start
  • Limited to 30 Snowmobiles
  • Can have a partner ($25 additional fee)
  • Judged Race (overall creativity, most fun, overall awesomeness)

TRI 5 RACE (45 Minutes: mid race grooming break, 30 Minute final leg)

  • $100 Entry Fee (1 Person)
  • 2000 and older race
  • Le Mans Start
  • Limited to 50 Snowmobiles
  • Can have a Team of 5 ($50 additional fee per rider)
  • Judged Race (overall creativity, most fun, overall awesomeness)

RULES + REGULATIONS & RACE INFO

Judged Race Criteria

  • CREATIVITY (Sled and/or Rider; costumes, spray paint, and stickers can make anything cool.)
  • MOST FUN (Life is better with a smile and a high five!)
  • OVERALL AWESOMENESS (Imagine a unicorn riding a snowmobile… it makes no sense, but THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!)

SLED

  • Any size engine
  • Model year 1995 and older and/or 2000 and older
  • Working Tether
  • Working tail light
GEAR
  • Snowmobile Chest protector
  • Boots
  • Eye protection (Goggles or full face helmet shield DOWN AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON COURSE)
  • Shin guards
  • Approved Helmet
  • You must have a working tether to run this race.
“SAFE ZONE”
Designated zone off track where Riders can pull in to swap drivers, tend to sled concerns, take a breather, have a sandwich and a Red Bull.
Rider drives into safe zone and at marked area will have to walk his sled from that point on. When leaving “Safe Zone” rider will walk his
Sled to clearly marked area before remounting and taking off.
Wings for life - Spinal Cord Research
On an added level of awesomeness, all registration proceeds from Tri 5 will be donated to Wings for Life, a not-for-profit research foundation whose mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. The organization funds world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord.
