As a vocalist, Paul stays quite active both as a solo performer and alongside his wife, Kristin. His opera experience includes singing the lead role of Figaro in Mozart's opera Le nozze di Figaro, staged in the Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, MN. Paul has also soloed with the St. Olaf Choir and the Rochester Choral Arts Ensemble. This is the second time Paul and Kristin will be singing at the Red Rocks Center for the Arts. Paul is a member of the Minnesota Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education.

An avid Minnesota sports fan, he and his wife reside in Blue Earth, MN with their twin children, William and Sylvia, and faithful golden retriever, Harmon.
