Led by a charismatic Leading Player, the musical tells the tale of Pippin, a young prince who desperately yearns for great adventure and passion in his life. Pippin, in pursuit of meaning and significance in life, goes to war in an attempt to prove his loyalty to his father, King Charles. Everything changes when Pippin is convinced by the Leading Player to fight tyranny.
