Ridgedale Summer Garden Celebration with Belinda Jensen

Ridgedale Center unveils the new Community Garden, Sat., June 15th, 11 AM to 2 PM. The program features: summer fashions presented by Ridgedale Stylist Jodi Mayers; Make & Take Succulent Bar (with a proof of $50 purchase from any retailer or restaurant at Ridgedale Center -- while supplies last); Belinda Jensen "Bel The Weather Girl" free book giveaway and signing 11:30-12:30 PM; Community Garden unveiling with Belinda Jensen 1 PM; photo opportunities in front of Ridgedale Center's new art mural; family friendly activities; and music.

Situated near the east entrance of Ridgedale Center (closest to The Cheesecake Factory), the garden is currently 20'x20', with room for expansion. Each bed is divided into equal squares to best maximize the space within each bed and provide ample room for each plant, flower, or vegetable to grow. It houses five different plant beds which utilize the square foot gardening method.

The Ridgedale Community Garden was designed in partnership with the University of Minnesota Master Gardeners – Hennepin County, who share Ridgedale Center's desire to spread awareness and understanding of our natural landscape.
