Life in Fresh Air happens at Viking Lakes, Eagan MN! Winter SKOLstice at Viking Lakes is back for its second year. Free and open to the public, there's fun for all ages and skill levels, from competition sports to learning something new on the ice to enjoying the winter atmosphere on the trails.

Pond Hockey: Play and Skate under the lights on our pond hockey rinks.

The rinks will be open for public use daily, but check back later for specific timeframes.

As part of Winter SKOLstice, Viking Lakes has multiple hockey rinks on the frozen pond between TCO Performance Center and Omni Viking Lakes Hotel. Subject to hours and availability, participation is free and open to the public.

USA Curling Experience: While the Winter Olympics may not be occuring this year, Winter SKOLstice will still feature on-ice curling for the second consecutive year!

3 - 15' x 75' sheets, using World Curling Federation-approved stones.
Free and open to the public on select days.
Warming Haus serving food and beverage daily, subject to private rental.
Waiver and registration is required.
Hours of Operation: 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Ice Skating & Other Activities: Have some fun on our homemade skating rink and on the pond.

• Open skate on the ponds under the lights.*
• Omni's front lawn will feature the 30x60' ice skating rink.
• Both activities are free and open daily to the public.
• You must bring your own skates
• Warming Haus is open every evening, subject to private rentals.

Skate the Omni Hours:
10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

*Open Pond Skate: Daily, weather dependents. Stay tuned to the calendar.

Whether you're coming off the ice, out of the maze, or not a fan of the cold, the Warming Haus is a perfect option for everyone.

• Daily food and beverage menu by Omni Hotel
• Live music, sports and much more.
• Warm up with bonfire pits and yard games.
• Available for private group rentals and events.

Monday - Friday 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday - Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

*All activities are weather dependent and may be canceled due to inclement conditions.
