About
The Long Course is back in 2021, and consists of a 1½ kilometer swim in Detroit Lake, a 40-kilometer bike ride through the beautiful (and hilly!) Minnesota Lakes Country, and a 10-kilometer run.
The Sprint Course will include a 500 meter swim, a 20k bike ride and a 5k run on parts of the same course as the Olympic course. This is a great introductory course for those new to the sport or not ready for the more challenging race.
The Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) and Kayak divisions are back again in 2021. These divisions consist of a 2 mile paddle combined a Sprint bike and run or choose a longer course and complete a 2 mile paddle combined with an Olympic bike and run.
The Relay Team Challenge is back in 2021. Gather your friends, family members and coworkers for this fun event. Choose the Sprint or Olympic distance.
The course officially closes at 11:30am on Race Day. After the course closes, participants may continue but it will be at their own risk.
