Established in 1989, Roselawn Stables Day Camp is the Twin Cities' oldest consecutively running horse camp. Whether you are looking for riding lessons, an exciting summer program for your child, or a unique activity for your church, work, or social group, we have a program for you. We offer programs for children, adults, groups, even entire families!

Root River Trail Towns

Root River Trail Towns is a not-for-profit group consisting of representatives from the towns along the Root River and Harmony-Preston Valley State Trails in Southeast Minnesota. Our group works together to promote the tourism, visitor and business potential of our area, hosting a number of joint events throughout the year. We invite you to visit our area and experience the beauty of Bluff Country!

Root River State Trail

42 mi blacktop biking and x-country ski trail between Fountain & Houston in scenic bluff country of SE MN. The trail winds through a small valley and follows the Root River. Trail passes a small dam, over rail bridges and through a rock wall blasted away for the railroad. Hawks, songbirds, and wild turkeys can be spotted. Trail centers in Lanesboro, Rushford, and Houston; other rest areas. 5 mi west of Lanesboro, the Root River Trail connects with the 17 mi Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail.

Rooster's Barn & Grill

Featuring home cooked full breakfasts with seating for over 100. Also serving burgers, sandwiches, broasted chicken, bar pizza and snacks. 6 Valley bar-sized pool tables, 2 league style dart machines and a variety of video arcade games. Full bar with several flat panel TVs.

Roma Restaurant is owned and operated by brothers Brent and Brian Pilrain. Our family name is of French descent and our lineage consists of Germanic and Gaelic ancestry. We embrace this heritage and especially enjoy the culinary traditions of the Italians, French, and Germans. We have brought these traditions together once more under a new Roman roof to create a unique food market that offers high quality and a fun theme. Roma is the Empire reborn!

Rollingstone-Luxembourg Heritage Museum

The former city hall, constructed in 1899-1900 is now the local museum which houses thousands of items from the area and from Luxembourg. Immigrants from Luxembourg founded the city of about 700 people. Also of note is a church constructed in 1869, an interesting cemetery, Main Street, a beautiful city park and bike path.
