Rock River Campground

The Rock River Campground and Park is located in
the southwest corner of our city on Mill Street.
It is close to our city park, swimming pool, and only a
short walk, bike ride or drive to our businesses and restaurants.

Our campground is located on the scenic Rock River
and offers updated restrooms and shower facilities,
a picnic shelter, fishing pond, modern playground equipment, bike/walking trail and a free sewer dump site.

Rock Lake Campground and Day-Use Area

Located in the Pillsbury State Forest, and managed by Crow Wing State Park. The campground has 48 sites. Thirteen sites are lakeside. All sites are considered "primitive," and are designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. There is a swimming beach and water access, fishing, and nature trails.

Rochester Honkers Baseball

The Rochester Honkers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League (NWL) is a summer collegiate league which provides a place for the best college players in the country to spend their summers and display their talents to professional scouts. Every player in the NWL must be enrolled in college and have at least one year of athletic eligibility to participate in the NWL and due to NCAA regulations, the players cannot get paid while playing in the NWL.
