A culture committed to perfecting the craft of the brew, one of the best park systems in the nation, and a foodie paradise where you can get Nordic cuisine for breakfast, Ethiopian for lunch and this thing called a “Jucy Lucy” for dinner – and oh yeah, cocktails on a Ferris wheel.
The Meeker County Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts that represent the history of Meeker County. We also are the proud caretakers of Frank Daggett Post No. 35, a G.A.R. Hall constructed by Union veterans of the Civil War in 1885. The Hall stands as one of the last remaining Grand Army of the Republic Hall in Minnesota.
The Meeker County Museum was built adjacent to the Hall in the 1960s. It includes an authentic 1868 log cabin, early farming and blacksmithing equipment, displays about Minnesotans in War, country schools, and much more!
