The First Stage Gallery and Performance Space features the arts and artists of the Iron Range. The First Stage is the first step in renovation of the Historic Lyric Opera House, a vital part of the downtown district of Virginia, Minnesota since 1912. Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, located in the heart of historic downtown Anoka, offers a full season of live theater (including musicals, dramas, comedies, and children’s productions) and intimate live music events as part of their "Music in the ‘Burbs" Concert Series.
The Main Street Stage (formerly the Anoka Cinema Building) was fully renovated in 2001 and features free parking, a warm and welcoming environment, and a cozy 227-seat bowl-style theater with comfortable stadium seating—there isn’t a bad seat in the house!

Lyon County Museum
The Lyon County Historical Society (LCHS) is a non-profit, member supported organization located in downtown Marshall, Minnesota. LCHS operates the Lyon County Museum, which is located at 301 West Lyon Street in Marshall, MN. The museum is located in the former Marshall-Lyon County Library building, which was built in 1967.
The mission of the society is: “The purpose of the society shall be the collection, preservation and dissemination of knowledge about the history of Lyon County and to relate it to the history of the region and the state of Minnesota."

Lyndale Park Gardens
Lyndale Park Gardens encompass the Peace Garden, Rose Garden, Annual & Perennial Garden, and a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden. The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer.
